Broadleaf Weed Control Guarantee

We guarantee our Weed Control for all customers signed up for 5—7 treatments. Notify us within the window of time below about any broadleaf weeds that weren’t controlled, and we’ll RETREAT FREE OF CHARGE!

Day

1

WEED CONTROL APPLIED

A liquid weed control will be applied to any active broadleaf weeds on your property. This product is formulated to cling to weeds and for application during rain. Moisture is beneficial to this product, allowing weeds to absorb the weed control more completely.

Day

10

CHECK YOUR WEEDS

Our weed control does not control weeds on contact. Instead, it accelerates the growth cycle. Because of this, it takes about 10 days for broadleaf weeds to fully respond to treatment. If weeds haven’t responded by day 10, contact us as soon as possible to retreat.

Day

14-21

LAST DAYS TO CONTACT US

If weeds have not responded by day 10, customers must notify us based on the schedule below:

  • 5 treatment customers: by day 14 post-treatment
  • 6 treatment customers: by day 21 post-treatment
  • 7 treatment customers: have UNLIMITED retreats

3–5
Weeks

EXPECT NEW WEEDS

New weeds continually germinate during the growing season, so you should expect new weeds to appear every 3–5 weeks. If you are signed up for less than 6 treatments, there will be a gap between summer treatments when weed invasion may take place.

that PREVENTS them from growing!

Crabgrass Control Guarantee

We guarantee our Crabgrass Control for all customers signed up for a 6 or 7 treatment plan, which are best suited to supporting the Crabgrass preventative. If you are signed up for 6 or 7 treatments and see Crabgrass in your yard at any time following treatment, we will RETREAT FREE OF CHARGE!

FACTS ABOUT CRABGRASS

Crabgrass is a warm-weather grass whose growth is triggered by warmer temperatures, typically in late June. It is highly unlikely that you would ever see Crabgrass any earlier than June. Crabgrass seeds can lie dormant for up to 10 years. Even a lawn that has had consistent control for many years can experience an influx of Crabgrass from these dormant seeds when certain weather conditions persist to trigger germination. Dried out, cracked soil next to concrete also triggers germination of dormant seeds. New Paragraph

PREVENTING CRABGRASS - 4 & 5 TREATMENT CUSTOMERS

If you are a 4 or 5 treatment customer and experience an outbreak of Crabgrass on your property, the cost of retreating those areas would be based on the size of the area affected. Below are the best cultural practices needed to support Crabgrass Control post-application:

Mow lawn icon

PROPER MOWING HEIGHT

Taller grass blades will shade the soil & prevent germination of Crabgrass.

Lawn Fertilizer Bag

FEED REGULARLY

A thick lawn seldom contains much crabgrass. A 6 or 7 treatment plan provides the recommended amount of nutrition required to create a thick lawn.

Water lawn icon

DEEP WATER YOUR LAWN

Water lawn deeply and infrequently to promote deeper roots. The lawn will grow thicker and crowd out Crabgrass.

Repair lawn icon

REPAIR LAWN DAMAGE

Fill in and repair any bare spots in the lawn, which are prime areas for Crabgrass to grow.

Crabgrass or Tall Fescue Comparison

Tall Fescue, or Quack Grass, is a type of field grass that is often confused with Crabgrass. Crabgrass grows close to the ground and spreads outward while Tall Fescue grows in upright mounds. Tall Fescue is a cosmetic issue that will not respond to our products and must be dug out by hand.
