Custom Personalized Lawn Care is a family-owned company providing fertilization and weed control services to our residential clients since 1988. We offer a stable and growing work environment with hands-on training that will allow you to learn and grow with our business. Applicants must be hardworking and highly self-motivated with the ability to support our team of Lawn Technicians by working on various equipment including trucks, power equipment, and small engines. This position is Full Time with opportunities for advancement.

Daily Job Responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance on our fleet of over 40 trucks and over 90 pieces of small engine power equipment
• The ability to diagnose and repair small engines, power equipment, and various vehicles including light duty and heavy duty trucks
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Applicant must be able to maintain the shop in a clean and orderly fashion
• Inventory management: entering in inventory, work orders, and maintenance schedules into fleet management software program
• Inspections of company equipment and vehicles on a routine basis
• Unloading of deliveries utilizing fork truck – Requires fork truck license
• Proactive approach to Fleet & Equipment maintenance
• Provide mechanical support to our four locations in Flint, Saginaw, Novi, and Lansing
• Job responsibilities is not all inclusive of duties

Requirements For Success:

• Experience with small engine repair and maintenance
• Experience with fleet repair and maintenance
• Bais knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Basic automotive repair skills
• Basic welding and fabrication knowledge
• Ability to manage the shop and work well with other team members
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Desire to learn
• Basic computer and Microsoft Word knowledge
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Fork Truck experience – License Required
